Tightening treatment of suspended ceiling
According to the design requirements, metal expansion bolts or shooting nails are used to fix the ceiling connection, or directly fix steel suspension rods, galvanized iron wires, and flat iron suspension components.
- Combination and assembly of grid units
The assembly of local grids, individual and individual, unit, and unit, serves as a rhythmic pattern composition factor for the grid ceiling. If necessary, it should be assembled on the ground as much as possible, and then suspended according to the design requirements.
To ensure a firm connection between components, nail fixation, adhesive bonding, tenoning, and reinforcement with square wood or iron pieces should be used according to the relevant technical requirements of woodworking operations. - Hoisting of grating
Leveling and fixing, after the wooden grid is in place, pull the lower convex part up and tighten it with a suspension rod, loosen the upper concave part to move the suspension rod down, and then reinforce the grid area.

2、 Specific operation methods:
- Snap line
Use a level gauge to mark horizontal points at the corners of each wall (column) in the room (if the wall is long, a few points should also be marked in the middle), and mark a horizontal line (usually 500 mm from the ground). Measure from the horizontal line to the design height of the suspended ceiling, and use a pink line to mark the horizontal line along the wall (column), which is the lower line of the suspended ceiling grille.
At the same time, according to the ceiling plan, pop up the position of the main keel on the concrete top plate. The main keel should be divided from the center of the ceiling to both sides, with a maximum spacing of 1000mm, and the fixing points of the suspension rods should be marked with a spacing of 900 mm~1000 mm. If the fixed points of beams and pipelines exceed the design and regulatory requirements, the fixed points of suspension rods should be added.
- Fixed hanging rod components
Fix the suspension rod with expansion bolts. Can be adopted ф 6 suspension rods. The suspension rod can use cold-drawn steel bars and coiled steel bars, but when using coiled steel bars, they should be straightened mechanically.
One end of the suspension rod is welded with an L30 * 30 * 3 angle code (the aperture of the angle code should be determined based on the diameter of the suspension rod and expansion bolt), and the other end can be threaded to produce a screw rod larger than 100mm, or a finished screw rod can be purchased for welding.
The fabricated suspension rod should be treated with rust prevention. The suspension rod should be fixed to the floor with expansion bolts and punched with an impact hammer. The aperture should be slightly larger than the diameter of the expansion bolt.
- Installation of light steel keel
The light steel keel should be hung on the suspension rod (if the ceiling is low, this process can be omitted and the next process can be carried out directly). Generally, 38 light steel keel is used, with a spacing of 900 mm~1000 mm. The light steel keel should be installed parallel to the long direction of the room and should be arched at a height of 1/200-1/300 of the room span.
The cantilever section of the light steel keel should not exceed 300mm, otherwise additional suspension rods should be added. The extension of the main keel should adopt docking, and the docking joints of adjacent keels should be staggered from each other. After hanging the light steel keel, it should be leveled.
For suspended ceilings with a span greater than 15m, a large keel should be added every 15m on the main keel, and welded firmly vertically to the main keel. - The installation of spring plates is connected to the light steel keel using a suspension rod (if the ceiling is low, the spring plates can be directly installed on the suspension rod and this process can be omitted), with a spacing of 900 mm~1000 mm, and then the spring plates are clamped on the suspension rod.
- The assembly of the main and auxiliary bones of the grille shall be pre-installed below according to the requirements of the design drawings.
- For grid installation, the preassembled grid ceiling shall be hung through the main bone hole with a hook. After the ceiling of the whole grid is connected, it can be adjusted to be horizontal.
Precautions
- Aluminum grids can be mainly divided into groove aluminum grids and flat aluminum grids. Due to the large area of each layer, it is necessary to handle the vertical or parallel relationship between metal grilles and mineral wool boards, suspended ceilings, walls, and columns. In this regard, the relevant axis should be measured to the wall column elevation, and the line should be drawn according to this benchmark line to find a rule for plastering, to ensure that the wall is parallel to the axis and that two adjacent surfaces are perpendicular to each other. This serves as the reference plane for the plane position of the ceiling.
- The arch lifting form and height of the grid ceiling: The arch lifting height can be around 1/200 of the 8M column spacing.
- Due to the installation of regulating valves in various pipelines within the grid ceiling, inspection holes must be reserved at corresponding positions. The plane position of the fire sprinkler head should not coincide with the grid strip and should be straight in both directions. For this, a pedal bend greater than 900 can be made at the upper end of the fire sprinkler riser to fine-tune the plane position of the sprinkler head.
- Retention of equipment inspection holes: Due to the installation of regulating valves in various pipelines within the grid ceiling, inspection holes must be reserved at corresponding positions, and the positions of inspection holes are not in vertical and horizontal rows.
The following method can be used for this: first cut into holes, then add angle aluminum around the holes (the angle aluminum is first painted with the same color as the grid), and the lower skin of the angle aluminum is recessed into the lower skin of the grid by 2mm. Finally, adjust and assemble the grid strips that have been cut out of the holes and place them on the angle aluminum. - The node treatment between the suspended ceiling and the wall column: L20MM * 20MM angle aluminum can be used to connect with the square column, which can achieve a coordinated and consistent effect with the mineral wool board suspended ceiling edge keel. The connection with the column can be closed with a ¥ 35 stainless.
